Export success hinges on successful relationships with the principals of each country. The common factor between all our China clients is our ability to offer a varied group of products that in each case was tailored specifically to their need.

Ten years ago we supplied EC-100 waterproofing and ceramic membrane as the topcoat to a full roof restoration system into the north provinces of China. This relationship led to us to exporting to Beijing, meeting their demands to export interior and exterior finishes to accommodate China’s rapidly changing building regulations. These requirements for exterior concrete and block work to be sealed and finished with durable protective exteriors further enhanced our export sales. As the developers of the large apartment projects using texture and exterior topcoats were impressed with the quality they then requested a selection of interiors.

Today we also supply product into Fuzhou, Fujian province where the size of the projects are substantial and require product of a very high standard. The principal has used the products to enhance his own construction projects (see “Sunshine City”) as well as establishing a distribution network including retail paint outlets to further his market and sales.
